I’m Sophie, a Graphic Designer at Southland District Council with a first-class honours degree in Visual Communication Design from Toi Rauwhārangi College of Creative Arts, Massey University. My experience covers a broad spectrum of design projects, though I’m especially passionate about editorial design and illustration—particularly storybook illustration. One of my aspirations is to publish ‘I Wonder,’ a storybook I wrote during university.
Graphic Designer - Bachelor of Design (First-Class Honours) in Visual Communication Design, Massey University, New Zealand.
Purposeful design is at the heart of my practice, especially when it enhances wellbeing. I believe visual storytelling has the unique ability to connect with people on a deeper level and spark positive change. I’m always eager to collaborate on projects that push creative boundaries, promote wellbeing, and expand my exploration of visual communication. Whether crafting editorial pieces or experimenting with new ideas, I’m excited to continue growing as a designer and bringing creative visions to life.
